DE LA TIERRA
This work was proudly presented in the HYMNAL group exhibition at Band of Vices in collaboration with Residency Art Gallery.
HYMNAL brought together four artists working across fiber, abstraction, figuration, and ceramics, the exhibition was rooted in a quiet yet powerful sense of reverence, materiality, and presence. HYMNAL emerged from an encounter with serenity: the beauty of a land, the simplicity of daily life, and the unforced grace of a people moving through the world with calm, dignity, and deep connection to place. In translating that experience into an exhibition, HYMNAL became an offering, a gathering of distinct voices joined by spirit, form, and feeling.
This work was also part of OPEN CALL, a group exhibition at Studio Channel Islands.
Artists are always pushing past what’s familiar—testing limits, uncovering something new, and transforming it into bold, original work. Studio Channel Islands invited artists to submit their latest breakthrough pieces—the ones that mark a turning point, expand their vision, and point toward what’s next in their creative evolution.
