ME RECUERDA A TI

This work is part of a four-piece collection deeply inspired by the otherworldly landscape of Joshua Tree National Park (a place whose vast, quiet beauty and raw textures left a profound impact on me). Standing among its ancient rock formations and iconic silhouettes, I was struck by the resilience and vulnerability of the high desert. Through hand-stitching and embroidery on canvas, I sought to translate the park's physical rhythm (mountain, sky, and of course, the Joshua trees) into tactile forms. The works serve as a visual record of my memory and presence, and were proudly presented at the High Desert Art Fair in March 2026.
