Band of Vices is proud to present HYMNAL, a group exhibition organized in collaboration with Residency Art Gallery. Featuring four artists working across fiber, abstraction, figuration, and ceramics, the exhibition explores themes of reverence, materiality, and presence through a range of distinct yet harmoniously aligned practices. Each artist brings a unique visual language, collectively shaping an experience that is both contemplative and deeply resonant. HYMNAL is inspired by an encounter with serenity—an attentiveness to the beauty of the land, the rhythms of daily life, and the quiet grace of communities grounded in dignity and connection to place. In translating this sensibility into exhibition form, HYMNAL becomes an offering: a gathering of voices unified by spirit, gesture, and feeling, inviting viewers into a space of reflection, stillness, and shared humanity.
